There was absolutely nothing on TV the other night, so I decided to watch the Winter Olympics. Me not usually to the Olympics, but I was desperate and there was nothing else to do. In any case, I was flipping through the channels on Direct TV and came across the sport curling. It was broadcast on NBC, which is one of my favorite networks. When I heard about curling in the past I just assumed it was a kind of weight lifting competition. I could not be more wrong.
Curling is a very cool sport where participants try to lift the stones on the frozen body of water.
There are circles on the ice, and players must try to get as close as possible to the circles of stones as possible. I must say I've never seen anything so fascinating! I think I can now start watching the Olympics, even if it is the only sport I watch. You could say that the great strength and concentration for the players to take the rocks to get into the circles. It's one of those things that once you start, where you look, you just can not stop. It was unbelievable!
